Integrated Demand Planner - Warburtons (Co-op)
£35,000 - £40,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A)
You’ll spend around one day a week with Warburtons in their Bolton office, and a minimum of one day per week at Co-op’s Manchester office, Angel Square, and the rest from home (Hybrid working)
12-month secondment / fixed-term contract, 5 over 7 days working pattern (Maximum 8 weekend days per year)

We’re looking for an Integrated Demand Planner to join Co-op and work in close partnership with Warburtons, helping to make sure our customers can always find the products they need, while balancing availability, waste and profitability.

You’ll take the lead on planning demand for the Warburtons range, working in partnership with teams across Co op and Warburtons to support great availability for our members and customers.

Working at the heart of the Co op and Warburtons partnership, you’ll turn data and collaboration into practical plans that support category growth, sustainability and our vision of co operating to build more value for our member owners every day.

What you’ll do

This role focuses on the Warburtons branded range only.

• Manage the end to end lifecycle of Warburtons products, including range changes and new launches
• Optimise availability, supporting sales and profitability through effective planning and forecasting
• Work closely with Buying and Merchandising teams to plan promotions, displays and seasonal uplifts
• Manage both direct to store and depot to store supply routes
• Respond to seasonality, weather and demand changes in a fast moving environment
• Lead supplier collaboration, clearly communicating forecasts, risks and assumptions
• Own forecast accuracy through strong sales history management and capacity aware planning
• Maintain high standards of system and data integrity within SAP
• Champion continuous improvement, compliance (including GSCOP) and positive Supply Chain behaviours

What we’re looking for

• Experience in demand planning, supply chain or account based planning
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills
• Able to balance competing priorities and adapt to change
• A collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and customer focus
