Change of direction

I've been working at Co-op for seven years now and I've never looked back. I was a chef previously and was ready to make a change and do something completely different. I started browsing the vacancy pages and it was the Funeral Arranger role that kept jumping out at me. It was something that I hadn't thought of, but it just felt right.

I am so glad that I listened to my intuition and took that leap of faith. Every day is different, and it is an absolute privilege to guide families at a time when they need us the most. I wouldn't get this level of fulfilment anywhere else.

Building a career at Co-op

There are so many resources available to develop your skills at Co-op. I felt supported and encouraged to progress and I was able to move into a management position quickly. I’ve had the opportunity to develop my own style of leadership and manage my team according to the principles that I believe in. I feel proud to be a part of a company that encourages everyone to be themselves.
