We're looking for Will Writers and experienced estate planning paralegals to join our team.

At Co-op Legal Services we're passionate about developing our colleagues. You’ll play a key part in helping people plan for the future. From start to finish, you’ll pro-actively engage with clients and manage their estate planning cases, whilst taking the time to understand each client’s needs and draft wills and other important documents with care. You’ll be there to offer support and guidance remotely, providing the best service to our clients.

What you’ll do

• Document and write wills of various complexity, write powers of attorney and other estate planning documentation, making sure all paperwork is accurate and professionally written
• Communicate with clients and external partners via the phone and written communication throughout each case
• Manage an incoming case load and work with those parties involved towards the successful completion of a case
• Accurately maintain client records and correspondence on our systems, making sure that all compliance and regulatory standards are met

What you’ll bring

We’re committed to making our roles as accessible as possible, so we only ask for the minimum criteria. To thrive here, you’ll need to bring:

•   Previous experience of drafting wills and advising clients relating to estate planning matters, as well as taking client instruction
•   Proven experience of managing cases of varying complexities
•   The ability to build positive relationships and a passion for providing outstanding customer service
•   A high level of attention to detail 
•   The ability to prioritise and manage your own caseload to deliver against targets

Your decision

If you’re successful at your interview, you’ll receive a phone call from the hiring manager you met to talk about your job offer. If you accept, we’ll then send your offer online via an email. Before anything can be processed, we'll need you to accept this offer online. This will start your journey into our Co-op.
