About this role

We’re looking for a Technical Solutions Manager to join our Digital workspace domain, part of the wider Digital technology & data team, in Manchester. In this role, you’ll provide expert guidance and hands-on support across the full suite of Microsoft Power Platform tools – including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio.

You’ll help shape how we use Power Platform services to solve business challenges, improve efficiency, and unlock new opportunities. By designing scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions, you’ll enable colleagues across Co-op to build even more value for our member-owners, every day.

What you’ll do

  • Use your knowledge of Power Platform tools to share best practices and communicate its capabilities and limitations
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Co-op to understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions
  • Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performing Power Platform solutions
  • Lead workshops, demos, and proof-of-concepts to showcase platform potential
  • Provide hands-on development, troubleshooting, and quality assurance
  • Establish and promote standards for solution design, development, and maintenance
  • Mentor and support team  members to build a strong Power Platform capability

What you’ll bring

  • Expertise in Power Platform tools (i.e. Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio)
  • A strong background in solution and technical architecture, including custom connector development
  • Experience in consultancy-type roles, with the ability to communicate Power Platform capabilities
  • Knowledge of API management and integration best practices
  • The ability to collaborate across all levels of seniority and translate needs into technical solutions
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
