We're looking for a proactive Range and Space Transformation Analyst to join our team and help us modernise the tools and processes that support how we plan and manage ranges and space across Co-op. You'll play a key role in a major transformation programme, helping us move from our current on-premise solutions to more scalable, future-ready platforms that can support our growing business. Working closely with colleagues across Range, Space, Technology and Change, you'll help make sure new systems and processes are designed, tested and embedded successfully.

As we invest in new capabilities, you'll help make sure we have the right data, processes and technology in place to support better decision making and deliver a more efficient way of working. Your insights and analytical approach will help us get the most from our new solutions and create a strong foundation for the future.

What you'll do

•    Analyse data, workflows and user requirements to identify opportunities for improvement and support business decisions
•    Collaborate closely with colleagues across Technology, Change and SRM teams to help shape practical, user-focused solutions
•    Support system testing, validation activities and issue resolution to ensure new functionality is fit for purpose
•    Help maintain data quality and consistency across range and space systems
•    Produce clear reports, insights and recommendations to support programme delivery and ongoing performance
•    Assist with change activities, including the development and delivery of user training, communications and process documentation
•    Monitor system performance and user feedback, helping to identify enhancements and continuous improvement opportunities
•    Build strong relationships across the business, acting as a trusted point of contact for transformation activity
•    Support the Range and Space Transformation Lead in delivering key programme milestones and objectives

What you’ll bring

We’re committed to making our roles as accessible as possible, so we only ask for the minimum criteria. To thrive here, you’ll need to bring:

•    Experience working with retail, category management, merchandising or space planning systems
•    Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and turn findings into actionable insights
•    Experience supporting system implementations, business change projects or process improvement initiatives
•    Good understanding of retail operations and the role range and space planning plays in delivering commercial performance
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across different teams
•    The ability to learn quickly, solve problems collaboratively and adapt in a changing environment

Why Co-op?

•    An annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)
•    28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays
•    A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
•    Access to a subsidised onsite gym (at our Manchester HQ)
