We're looking for a Partnerships Assistant to join our Partnerships team, which looks after some of Co-op's key partnerships including Co-op Live, Festivals and The Hacking Games.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across high-profile partnerships that help bring the Co-op brand to life, connect us with new audiences and create value and engaging experiences for our members, customers and colleagues.

Why this role matters

Our partnerships generate opportunities across the business, from live events and campaigns to colleague engagement and brand activation and community impact programmes. Behind every successful partnership is great organisation, coordination and communication.

As a Partnerships Assistant, you'll play an important role in making sure partnership activity runs smoothly. You'll support ticketing and accreditation processes, asset management, budget tracking and reporting as well as communications, helping us maximise the value of our partnerships and ensuring colleagues across Co-op are kept up to date on the impact they deliver.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate partnership activity across Co-op Live, Festivals and The Hacking Games
  • Manage festival ticketing, accreditation processes, hospitality and Dreamseat allocations
  • Manage and track partnership assets, ensuring everything is organised and delivered on time
  • Raise purchase orders and support budget administration, tracking spend and maintaining accurate records
  • Support partnership reporting and performance tracking, helping demonstrate the value delivered by our partnerships
  • Help coordinate meetings, schedules and key project milestones
  • Work closely with external partners and internal stakeholders to keep activity moving forward
  • Create and share colleague communications, including content for Viva Engage, helping to drive awareness and engagement with our partnerships with colleagues
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the wider Partnerships team
  • Support the delivery of Co-op Live activations, festivals and wider partnership campaigns where needed

What you’ll bring

  • Excellent organisational skills and can effectively manage multiple priorities at once
  • Strong attention to detail; you enjoy keeping information accurate and up to date
  • Good general IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Strong communication skills; you’re able to build positive relationships with colleagues and external partners
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to problem-solving
  • An interest in live events, partnerships or brand experiences, or some previous experience in these areas
  • Experience in administration, project co-ordination, events, partnerships, marketing or a similar environment would be beneficial

Why Co-op?

We’re an organisation that puts people and communities first, and we’re powered by purpose. We want this to be a place where you can thrive, so you’ll also receive:

  • An annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)
  • 28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays
  • A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
  • Access to a subsidised onsite gym (at our Manchester HQ)
  • 30% discount on Co-op products and 10% off other brands
  • Stream – early access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it
  • Virtual healthcare including GP appointments, mental health support, nutrition and fitness advice
  • 24/7 colleague support service
  • Training and support for your development and career progression
  • Cycle-to-work scheme
