Operations Manager - Operational Reporting & Insight 
£50,320 to £60,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 5)  
Manchester city centre, in this role you’ll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home and coming into the office around twice a week.

We’re looking for an Operations Manager to lead our Reporting & Insight Services team within Co-op Business Services (CBS). CBS is made up of a number of diverse teams dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable and cost-effective business services across our Co-op. You’ll play a key role in helping CBS to support and realise our group vision of ‘co-operating to build more value for member-owners every day’. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, helping shape how we use data to drive decisions and improve services across Co-op.

What you’ll do

• Lead, coach and inspire a team of 4 to10 colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth and accountability. 
• Own strategic relationships with key data partners across the business, ensuring alignment and impact. 
• Drive transformation by embedding end-to-end thinking and championing innovation in reporting processes. 
• Design for the future by aligning services with CBS strategy and keeping customer needs at the heart of everything we do. 
• Champion continuous improvement, ensuring our reporting services meet high standards for quality, customer experience and efficiency. 
• Role model inclusive leadership, creating an environment where everyone can thrive and contribute. 

What you’ll bring 

• Experience setting up or transforming services 
• A background in shared services environments 
• Strong Power BI skills, with experience using data from sources such as Oracle or SAP 
• Excellent analytical thinking skills  
• Strong communication, influencing, and coaching skills 
• A curious mindset and initiative to drive change 
• The ability to connect across teams and lead with empathy and purpose
