Customer Team Member
As a Customer Team Member, you’ll be on the front line of our business. There’s lots to do in this role, with plenty to keep you busy during your shifts. From giving our customers a great in-store experience to preparing bakery products and promoting our membership offer, every day is different. Customer Team Leader
As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll help maintain our high standards while supporting the development and performance of your store colleagues. You’ll help the Store Manager with daily tasks and make sure your store is always safe and secure. You’ll also take pride in keeping the store well-stocked and looking great, leading by example, and always doing the right thing. Store Manager
If you have a strong sense of community, commercial awareness, and leadership skills, our Store Manager opportunity might be just what you’re looking for. As a Store Manager at Co-op, you’ll lead your team and make sure everyone works together to deliver a great in-store experience for our customers. While the role comes with its challenges, it offers exciting project opportunities and plenty of room for growth, making it one of the most rewarding careers in retail.
Our apprenticeships
Our Customer Team Leader (Level 3) apprenticeship gives you the knowledge and experience needed to become a future leader in our food retail stores. Over 18 months, you’ll develop your key skills in sales, product marketing, leadership, communication, and more.
You’ll lead your store team, engage with your local community, and provide a great experience for our customers and member-owners. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start a rewarding career in Food Retail, and you’ll be supported every step of the way by a friendly team of store colleagues and a dedicated personal mentor.
Your development
