Labour Planning Data Analyst 
£42,000 to £48,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A) 
Manchester city centre. In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home and coming into the office once a week

We’re looking for a Labour Planning Data Analyst to join our Operations Support Centre team. At Co-op, we have around 2,500 food stores across the UK, and around 40,000 colleagues working hard to provide our customers and members with the great service they expect from us. We need to make sure that these colleagues have working schedules that work for them and for our stores, and that they’re paid correctly, and as a Labour Planning Data Analyst, you’ll be helping to make this happen. It’s a big job, and one that offers the opportunity for you to make a real impact of the working lives of thousands of our colleagues. 

What you’ll do

• Create and maintain a regular suite of reports using preferred business tools, such as Power BI and Excel 
• Provide timely and accurate Operating Model insight, so that field and store colleagues are able to identify improvement opportunities
• Develop and maintain collaboration across teams within the OSC, Field and Store teams
• Contribute to weekly meetings by providing insight to influence strategic decisions
• Actively seek feedback from end users in order to prioritise builds and enhancements to existing and new reports
• Respond, to ad-hoc requests from end users, providing the required information and analysis to support with business improvement
• Get involved in a range of ad-hoc projects

This role would suit people who have

• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel and other applications
• Demonstrable analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret data and make links to the business
• Able to produce high quality, accurate data in a variety of different formats
• Strong stakeholder management, including influencing upwards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate the complex, simply
• Commercial acumen, you’re able to look at the bigger picture and spot risk and opportunity
