CBS Adviser – People Services

£25,430 plus great benefits (Work Level 6C) 
Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours a week)

We’re looking for an Adviser to join the People Services function within our wider Co-op Business Services (CBS) organisation. CBS is made up of a number of diverse teams dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable and cost-effective business services across our Co-op. You’ll play a key role in helping CBS to support and realise our group vision of ‘co-operating to build more value for member-owners every day’.  

Why this role matters 

In this role you'll help colleagues across Co-op and our external customers get the support they need by delivering high-quality telephone, administrative and systems support. Through every interaction, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience and keeping our people connected to the services they rely on, while building valuable HR knowledge and experience across our Co-op.

What you’ll do

  • Respond to queries and deal with requests professionally and sensitively

  • Provide a high-quality telephony and administrative support to our colleagues 

  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners across the CBS and the wider business

  • Spot opportunities to improve processes and streamline ways of working

  • Work to ensure we meet our key performance indicators as a team and individually, as well as supporting the wider Colleague Contact function

  • Gain support and mentorship from experienced colleagues within the team and demonstrate outstanding customer service skills

What you’ll bring

  • Great organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail

  • Experience working within a telephony environment and/or HR experience 

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality 

  • Good level of IT skills using a variety of different systems, with the ability to confidently use programmes in the Microsoft Office suite
