Resourcing Operations Analyst

Manchester city centre  
9-month secondment

We’re looking for a resourcing operations analyst to help us develop our resourcing service. In this role, you’ll work closely with the operations lead to embed the Oracle Recruit system into resourcing. You’ll help us transform recruitment at Co-op by embracing technology, fine tuning our processes, and getting closer to our customers and candidates than ever before. If you a resilient mind set and can build strong internal relationships, we’ll give you exposure to a range of different colleagues and projects.  

What you’ll do 

  • be an advocate for using the Oracle Recruit system – handling user issues and embedding the new system both in resourcing and the business  
  • design, develop and maintain the recruitment plan, consistently reviewing processes to drive continuous improvement 
  • identify the root cause of any issues raised within the OR system and use analytical thinking to resolve 
  • keep up to date with technology releases and continuous improvement initiatives 
  • maintain relationships with external partners and link in with wider resource project planning team from a legislation or policy change perspective 
  • review customer insights from hiring manager and customer surveys to identify service improvements 

This role would suit people who have  

  • a good understanding of resourcing and the constantly evolving, fast-paced nature of the business area  
  • previous experience of working on projects and understanding of project requirements e.g creating action logs, maintaining project plans etc. 
  • the ability to interpret and analyse information from several different sources e.g Microsoft Excel and feel comfortable using report tools to manipulate high volumes of data and provide insight 
  • the confidence to challenge decisions and manage competing demands and priorities 
  • experience of building relationships with different colleagues at all levels
