Scunthorpe (hybrid working – you’ll spend a minimum of one day a week working from the office)

Co-op Wholesale is growing, and we’re looking for people who want to shape what comes next. As a Stock Controller, you’ll make sure the bulk orders placed by our wholesale partners are processed on time, working with our Demand Planning team to guarantee that we’ve always got the right amount of stock needed across our warehouses.

To serve our partners as best as we can, we have to make sure the products they need are available to them, exactly when they need them. That’s where you come in.

What you’ll do

• Control bulk orders placed by our partners, checking stock levels and ensuring stock availability
• Work closely with our Partner Management team and cross train to provide support and cover during periods of high demand
• Carry-out administrative activities to make sure our bulk orders are processed smoothly
• Analyse forecasted demand from bulk orders to make sure we’ve got the appropriate stock availability
• Maintain accounts and spreadsheets, keeping track of all bulk order transactions
• Collaborate with our suppliers, partners, and your colleagues to secure purchase order requirements

• Good administration skills, with a strong attention to detail
• An interest in supply chain and demand planning
• Good Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to work to deadlines
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
