Value Strategy Senior Delivery Manager 

£50,000 to £58,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 5) 

Manchester City Centre, in this role you’ll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home and coming into the office at least three times a week (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy). 

12-month secondment 

We’re looking for a Value Strategy Senior Delivery Manager to join our Propositions team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the evolution of our value strategy. You’ll collaborate with a variety of internal teams, making sure that value strategy thinking and activity is embedded across the business. Alongside your own team, you’ll focus on the current process of our value strategy plan, maintaining and enhancing the data we collect, positively engaging the people it involves and embedding and developing the tools we use.  We’ll look to you to manage a dynamic strategy while looking for ways to continuously improve and make a positive impact within our Co-op. 

What you’ll do

  • Create a continuous flow of data and insight to engage with key proposition teams to refresh value strategy targets 
  • Deliver key data to our category development team for category strategy clarity for buyers 
  • Create communication forums and engagement to embed best practice delivery of value strategy 
  • Make sure the proposition plan champions customers and our members 
  • Support the propositions team to review and optimise the processes linked to the delivery of value strategy 
  • Create content for the internal communication plan on value strategy 
  • Work closely with the trading team to clearly communicate the proposition plan and the support that is available to deliver it successfully 

This role would suit people who have

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence a variety of internal and external partners 
  • Experience in building and managing strong relationships with partners across our business 
  • A high level of data literacy 
  • A desire to broaden their knowledge, understanding and exposure across a wide network
  • An understanding of all key commercial and proposition roles in retail and a basic understanding of value strategy
