Value Strategy Process Analyst
£35,000 to £40,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A)

We’re looking for a Value Strategy Process Analyst to join our Propositions team here at Co-op. You’ll be joining our Value Strategy team which is fundamental to everything our Co-op delivers within our customer proposition. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of value strategy data in a form which can be interpreted into targets and category strategy.
We’ll look to you to review the process linked to the delivery of price and promotions, to ensure they’re reviewed and improved to reflect changes in approach driven by value strategy insight. You’ll collaborate with key process owners of range, price, promotions, and quality to make sure processes are reflective of updated value strategy thinking.
What you’ll do
- Manage and collate data and insight in a way that can be translated into actionable targets for the propositions team to embed
- Support the delivery of key data to the Category Development team
- Contribute to the delivery of communication forums and engagement packs to embed best practice delivery of value strategy via an internal communication plan
- Deliver the data which will support our engagement plan
- Help protect our value proposition through supporting teams with the interpretation of data
- Support the wider Proposition team to review and optimise processes linked to the delivery of value strategy
- Act as air traffic control for activity across propositions impacting areas of value strategy change
- This role also leads proposition risk and audit actions as part of air traffic control
This role would suit people who have
- A high level of data literacy, with the ability to use a variety of platforms and tools including Power BI, Microsoft Excel and Microstrategy
- An understanding of commercial roles in retail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence across a cross functional group
- A logical, methodical, and organised approach
- The ability to build strong relationships with internal partners
