Promotions Manager - Nisa
Up to £52,000 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 6A)
Scunthorpe – hybrid working with one day a week required in the office, with some travel to Manchester

We’re looking for a promotions manager to join our trading team. Nisa is the Co-op’s wholesale business and has a turnover of around £1.4bn, serving approximately 4,500 convenience stores across the UK.  Since the acquisition of the business by Co-op in 2018, the combined scale, better product ranges and greater resources has allowed us to achieve amazing things.

In this role, you’ll manage the development, co-ordination, and implementation of an annual promotional programme, ensuring the needs of Nisa partners and customers are met, whilst helping to deliver the key commercial targets for the business. This is a fantastic chance to build on your skills and make a real difference to the way we do business.

What you’ll do

•    work collaboratively with the Nisa marketing team to make sure the promotional plans reflect wholesale requirements and market challenges for the period, quarter, and year
•    work closely with the Co-op promotions team to make sure our plans are aligned and share best practices to increase the impact of these
•    create briefs for the Nisa commercial team to source activity
•    produce and co-ordinate all customer promotional communications 
•    manage and co-ordinate all promotional calendars and timelines
•    inclusively line manage a team of three direct reports, providing coaching to support individual development and deliver an excellent service

This role would suit people who have

•    solid commercial experience with an understanding of operating in a retail trading environment 
•    the ability to plan campaigns and projects with a customer focussed approach 
•    excellent communication and influencing skills up to senior level 
•    the ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively across the business
•    the ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
