Pricing Analyst 
£43,000 to £53,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A)
Scunthorpe, in this role you’ll be working in a hybrid way splitting your time between home and coming into the office at least once a week (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).  

We’re looking for Pricing Analysts to join us at Nisa. We’ll look to you to manage the effective running of the Wholesale Price Index along with all other pricing analysis and reporting needs. You’ll provide additional pricing insight to the trading team and wider business, supporting the trading function with any required analytical support. If you can bring us your excellent Excel skills and commercial experience, we can offer you the opportunity to make a difference on the way we do business.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the weekly Wholesale Price Index Tool, making sure we have clear and consistent reporting of our wholesale pricing position against our key competitors 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify wholesale pricing issues 
  • Provide regular pricing views on extended wholesale competition 
  • Liaise with the retail team to manage any partner pricing challenges and any pricing communications that need to be passed on to partners 
  • Manage and build relationships with Sales Out and Circana to support the Trading Support Function 
  • Work with the insights team to develop market performance and loyalty reporting 
  • Support internal teams with any analytical requirements

This role would suit people who have

  • Experience working in a commercial environment, where you’ve had direct responsibility for pricing or exposure to it 
  • Expert Microsoft Excel skills, with strong analytical experience 
  • Worked with and understand a Trading P&L
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written 
  • The ability and confidence to influence at all levels through evidence based, data led analysis and presentation
