We’re looking for a Partnerships Marketing Manager to join Co-op Wholesale as part of the Customer Experience team. Since 1977, we’ve championed independent retailers to thrive with Nisa – and now, we’re entering a bold new chapter as Co-op Wholesale. It’s the same spirit, with bigger ambition: bringing the power of Co-op to more local businesses than ever. And with that, exciting opportunities are on the rise, like this one.

We’ve set up a brand-new Customer Experience team to make a real difference for our varied wholesale customer base, including independent retailers, corporate partners and national accounts. This team is all about bringing focus, speed, and creating new ways of working. Getting the right messages to the right people and making sure our customers feel understood.

You’ll be the face of marketing to our corporate partners, helping to shape and deliver campaigns that will directly impact partner growth and loyalty. You’ll work across the wider Co-op group and Co-op Wholesale, bringing creative ideas to life and helping us to scale and streamline marketing support across our corporate accounts.

What you’ll do

•    Build strong relationships with corporate partner contacts and internal account teams
•    Develop and execute tailored marketing plans aligned with joint business objectives
•    Lead co-branded campaigns and initiatives that drive loyalty, growth, and commercial value
•    Oversee content creation in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies
•    Create and manage marketing toolkits, templates and playbooks for consistent activation
•    Represent marketing at partner meetings and quarterly business reviews
•    Align with the Assistant Partnerships Marketing Manager and Optimisation Manager on segmentation and targeting
•    Track and report on campaign performance, including conversion, satisfaction and revenue metrics

This role would suit people who have

•    Experience in partnership, B2B, or account-based marketing working on joint marketing plans
•    Strategic and commercial mindset, being able to translate partner needs into proved ROI marketing activities
•    Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise work
•    The ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external partners
•    Great presentation skills with the ability to engage colleagues and customers
•    Experience briefing and working with creative teams and agencies

Why Co-op?

If you have the skills that we need, we can offer you a competitive salary and great benefits package which includes 30% off Co-op branded products in our food stores (as well as other discounts on Co-op products and services).

•    An annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)
•    28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays
•    A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
•    Private healthcare
•    Access to a subsidised onsite gym (at our Manchester HQ)
•    Coaching and training to support your career development
•    Wagestream app – giving you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn
