12-month secondment/Fixed Term Contract - 37.5 hours per week

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Adviser to help us deliver a great Talent Acquisition & Development service. In this role, you’ll manage the end-to-end resourcing process – working with hiring managers to make the right selection decisions and supporting candidates all the way from application through to on boarding.

You’ll need to be passionate about delivering an efficient service to candidates and hiring managers, driving the delivery of a consultative recruitment experience for the business and our candidates. As part of the Talent Acquisition & Development team, you’ll help us transform talent acquisition at Co-op by embracing technology, fine tuning our processes, and getting closer to customers and candidates than ever before.

What you’ll do

• Develop positive relationships with hiring managers for vacancies across our support centre, providing a consultative recruitment service
• Be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process
• Support line managers in planning interviews, while coaching them to develop their capabilities
• Work collaboratively with the candidate marketing team and external partners
• Help candidates develop their understanding of roles, business areas and Co-op values 
• Enable faster and more efficient recruitment processes by utilising our innovative technology
• Work with the wider resourcing team to identify continuous improvement opportunities

This role would suit people who have

• A proven understanding of the 360 recruitment lifecycle
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a talent for building relationships with partners across the business 
• A high level of attention to detail with experience of completing processes from start to finish
• Great organisation skills, with the ability to handle and prioritise your own workload
• A collaborative approach to work
• An inquisitive mentality, to help with identifying continuous improvement opportunities
• The desire to deliver a great service for candidates and hiring managers
