Business Process Partner – Finance
£55,000 to £60,000 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 5)
Manchester City Centre, in this role you’ll split your time between home and coming into the Manchester office at least twice a week (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).
We’re looking for a Business Process Partner to join the partnering team within our wider Co-op Business Services (CBS) organisation. CBS is made up of a number of diverse teams dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable and cost-effective business services across our Co-op. You’ll play a key role in helping CBS to support and realise our group vision of ‘co-operating to build more value for member-owners every day’.
We’ll look to you to be part of a new team in our Optimisation Centre (OC) offering a service to our new SAP S4 HANA Solution to our colleagues, making sure our integrated solutions meet our business requirements. Through service partnering, you’ll link all the relevant areas of the business and look to continuously improve the Businesses SAP End to End processes. If you have an analytical approach and an awareness of end-to-end processes, this is a great opportunity to develop your skills.
What you’ll do
- Develop and optimise the 3 main end-to-end business processes, supported by business subject matter experts, BPPs, Process Analysts and Technical Specialists
- Partner with senior leaders and their teams to make sure initiatives needing OC support are understood and fed into the triage process to support roadmap planning and prioritisation
- Attend governance forums and planning sessions to understand future direction, potential requirements, and wider sources of change from other programmes
- Partner with teams of business analysts and subject matter specialists to deliver improvements
- Drive knowledge transfer between the OC and the business areas, acting as the point of contact for end users
- Represent the team on large transformation programmes, providing the relevant input to process or solution design decisions and ensuring alignment with the OC roadmap
- Work with monitoring analysts to develop key performance metrics
- Provide advice on specific training needs and the development of training materials
- Identify risks and issues, taking ownership of delivering solutions and mitigation
This role would suit people who have
- A finance background with knowledge and understanding of Finance end-to-end processes
- Great communication skills, with the ability to engage and present to technical and non-technical audiences in a compelling way
- Good influencing skills, with the ability to constructively challenge when necessary
- A talent for building positive relationships with partners at all levels across the business
