Senior Q-Commerce Manager - Last Mile and Customer
£55,000 - £65,000 plus great benefits including private healthcare (Work Level 5)
Manchester city centre, in this role you’ll work in a hybrid way, splitting your time between home, travel between Co-op stores, coming into the office at least twice a week, and occasionally being on call over the weekend (find out more about our hybrid working policy at jobs.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).
We’re looking for a Senior Q-Commerce Manager to join our Last Mile and Customer team to help us grow our online delivery service, giving our customers more ways to shop with us. In this role, we’ll look to you to build great relationships with our third-party couriers, so we can continue to grow our operations. You’ll take responsibility for last mile and customer service, engaging with key partners to create operational efficiencies and improve overall customer experience.
We’ve got exciting ambitions to grow the number of online orders we deliver, and we need to continue to use tech to improve and innovate our operations. We’ll look to you to support us in making Co-op an even better place for our member-owners and customers to shop.
What you’ll do
- Manage relationships and direction with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead on our tech roadmap and innovation for last mile delivery
- Negotiate and maintain 3rd party contracts and manage new business in the last mile function
- Oversee budgets for last mile and Co-op Business Services (CBS)
- Manage performance and developments for online and CBS operations
- Act as a champion for the entire online customer journey
- Support and develop your team to do a fantastic job
This role would suit people who have
- Strong ecommerce experience, preferably with last mile delivery
- A willingness to learn and able to adapt to change
- The ability to lead a team and help them develop and progress
- Knowledge and awareness of developments in the tech and digital landscape
- The ability to build positive relationships internally and with external partners
