We’re looking for a Membership Analytics Manager to join our Digital Technology & Data team in Manchester on an 11-month fixed-term contract. Working closely with colleagues in our Membership CRM and Offers team, you’ll manage advanced analytics projects end-to-end and provide meaningful recommendations based on solid insights.
This is a great opportunity to develop and implement new ways for us to analyse and use our data, making sure we’re constantly improving the value and quality of the insights we provide across Co-op. In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way – splitting your time between home and the office (find out more about our hybrid working policy at https://jobs.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).
What you’ll do
- Partner with our business areas to build and deliver a connected analytics and insight roadmap
- Manage the design and delivery of complex, end-to-end analytics projects
- Collaborate with our wider data teams to develop and share advanced analytics techniques
- Build meaningful relationships with key partners across Co-op, exploring opportunities for analytics to make a positive impact
- Build an understanding of how each project interacts with our wider business, engaging with the relevant partners across Co-op to share valuable recommendations
This role would suit people who have
- Significant experience of designing, delivering, and managing large-scale, complex, and end-to-end data projects
- Strong numeracy skills, with a background in maths and statistics (or equivalent)
- Experience writing and developing code with large datasets using SQL, SAS, and Python (or equivalent)
- The ability to scope and implement analytical solutions (e.g., segmentation, clustering, regression modelling, measurement)
- Good communication skills, with an ability to clearly present technical information to a non-technical audience
- Good relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people, at all levels of seniority, inclusively
We know that some candidates are less likely to apply for a role if they don’t meet all the criteria in the job description. At Co-op, we're committed to building a diverse and inclusive working environment, so if you'd like to apply for this role but your experience doesn't quite meet every point, we'd still encourage you to apply. You may be just the right candidate for the job or other roles we have available.
