Delivery Manager – Retail Operations
£35,000 - £40,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A)
Manchester - in this role you’ll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home and the office typically once a week (find out more about our hybrid working policy at jobs.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).
Please note that this role will involve occasional travel across the UK to visit our Food stores and depots.
We’re looking for a motivated Delivery Manager to help us roll out innovative processes and new ways of working across our stores. You’ll be supporting the Stores Governance forums, working with partners and making sure new ideas are properly tested before they go live.
You’ll be key to our comms and engagement process, communicating across our Field teams, Store teams and our Store Manager Change Coaches. If you’re great at communicating and improving processes, this role gives you an opportunity to make a real difference by driving down costs for Co-op and improving experiences for our colleagues and customers.
What you’ll do
- Organise and facilitate our Stores Governance forums
- Create engaging and understandable communications for a range of colleagues, helping to make sure that change lands smoothly into the business
- Gather ongoing feedback from stores seeking solutions through key business partners
- Liaise with Store Managers, Operations Managers and other internal partners, building strong relationships as you go
- Support the Delivery Assurance Managers in the delivery of new processes into the store environment
This role would suit people who have
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt your style, influence and challenge partners, and present clearly to different audiences
- Experience building great relationships, with strong networking skills across a variety of teams and levels
- Great organisation skills and are detailed-focused, with solid planning skills
- A solid understanding of food store operations
- Good Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
