Ready to make a real impact? We thought so. We’re looking for a skilled change and growth project leader to join our Logistics and Supply Chain team. We’re entering our next exciting phase of growth, and with that, we've got new opportunities emerging across Co-op Wholesale, like this one.
We're looking for someone who can seamlessly manage tasks from weeks to years ahead, ensuring smooth progress and successful outcomes. You’ll be the mastermind behind making sure everything runs smoothly, from day-to-day logistics to big network changes and special projects and you'll play a key part in expanding our logistics and supply chain networks, working closely with the property team on depot strategies and long-term service improvements. With your leadership and vision, you'll drive the success of Co-op Wholesale, ensuring everything aligns with our business goals.
What you’ll do
- Be a vital team player, collaborating across internal and external teams to achieve Supply Chain & Logistics goals and support the overall Wholesale Growth plan
- Lead strategic projects within Supply Chain & Logistics for Co-op Wholesale, working with key departments, external partners, Coop stakeholders, and depot operations to ensure timely and cost-effective implementation
- Drive key change and growth initiatives that reduce costs and boost the profitability of Coop Wholesale
- Propose and implement new ideas to improve services and provide better value to members, striking the right balance between service and cost
- Maintain high professional standards in all areas of work, interacting with colleagues at all levels with appropriate communication
- Foster a collaborative, cross-functional work culture
- Create and deliver a compelling narrative that engages others and shares the journey of change
- Ensure all projects and changes align with Co-op Wholesale's sustainability goals
- Actively promote Diversity & Inclusion opportunities within the team
- Support and drive the implementation of the Supply Chain and Logistics Talkback action plan, enhancing colleague engagement
This role would suit people who have
- In-depth understanding of Supply Chain & Logistics operations, including warehousing and transport
- Proven experience leading and implementing projects end-to-end within the logistics or supply chain environment
- Strong relationship-building skills at a senior level and as a credible external business representative
- Commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret P&L, budgets, and forecasting data
- Result-driven mindset, with strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
