We’re looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to lead a high-performing finance team and act as a strategic advisor to Senior Directors. In this commercially focused role, you’ll drive financial planning, reporting, and decision-making to maximise profitability across our growing B2B division and corporate accounts.
With our major customers you’ll identify opportunities to expand sales, secure large multi-site contracts, and optimise trading, margin, and operating profit. You’ll play a key role in bids, scenario planning, and negotiations, ensuring sustainable, profitable growth.

What you’ll do
- Lead financial planning, reporting, and performance management, including monthly reporting to senior directors.
- Influence and challenge senior leaders on retail strategies, segmented propositions, and trading plans to drive sales and margin growth.
- Liaise with Coop directors to ensure fair allocation of commercial income within the One Buyer model.
- Lead and support high-impact projects, ensuring commercial rigour in new contracts and business cases.
- Represent B2B externally, securing customer bids and corporate contracts while ensuring financial accountability.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to solve complex business challenges and enhance performance.
- Influence key decisions through analysis, thought leadership, and strategic scenario planning.
- Ensure finance projects are resourced effectively, aligning strategy, priorities, and resource allocation.
