Retail Media Operations Manager 
£40,000 – £45,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A) 
Manchester city centre, hybrid working with one day a week in the office, based on team requirements

We’re looking for a Retail Media Operations Manager to join us at Co-op. In this role, you’ll lead media operations for the Co-op Media Network, shaping strategy and driving performance across the wider team. You’ll oversee the end-to-end media campaign process—including creative execution—manage our vendor ecosystem, and identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency. Your work will be key to delivering best-in-class retail media experiences.

What you’ll do

• Lead media operations and campaign execution for the Co-op Media Network
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver integrated, high-impact strategies
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure efficient, effective use of media channels
• Develop and refine scalable processes for both new and existing media platforms
• Identify opportunities for innovation and operational efficiency, staying ahead of industry trends
• Work cross-functionally and leverage internal systems to ensure strong media compliance and governance
• Make sure that creative assets are strategically developed to drive campaign effectiveness and measurable results
• Monitor performance, mitigate risks, and report on key metrics to inform continuous improvement

• The ability to manage a range of internal and external partner relationships 
• Good general IT skills and basic use of Microsoft Excel 
• The confidence to influence others and challenge when necessary 
• Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your work
