£80,000 to £90,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 4)

We’re looking for a Domain Principal to join our ERP Technology team, within our wider Digital Technology & Data team, in Manchester. In this role, you’ll lead and oversee our S4 SAP Finance area, ensuring the ongoing ownership and optimisation of our new S4 SAP platform. This is a hybrid opportunity, and you’ll split your time between home and the office (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).
As our Domain Principal for SAP Finance, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the quality of service delivery within this domain, leading operations for all relevant applications, mitigating risks and issues, and managing both people and budgets. You’ll also be responsible for embedding this new technology team within our Co-op. If you have the leadership skills and technical experience we’re looking for, this is a great opportunity for you to play a huge role in helping us to create a leading in-house SAP capability across Co-op.
What you’ll do
- Create and lead a multi-disciplinary team of up to 8 colleagues, including Service Owners, Application Engineers, and Delivery Managers
- Create, develop, and implement the technology roadmap for your domain
- Effectively manage the CAPEX budget and your domain budget
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with colleagues and partners at all levels of seniority
- Oversee delivery for your domain, ensuring the team’s capacity and resource availability are closely monitored
This role would suit people who have
- Significant experience working with SAP and finance technology
- Experience leading product, platform, and design teams to deliver a wide range of technological change
- Experience managing both internal and external team members
- A proven track record of managing budgets effectively
- Good leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to support others in their development
- Good communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people, of all levels of seniority, inclusively
