Contract Manager
Up to £58,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 5)

You’ll need a full UK driver’s licence, with flexibility to travel on occasion to various sites/locations anywhere in the UK – including visiting suppliers off site
Remote / Manchester City Centre (we’ll look for you to come into the office around once a quarter)

We’re looking for a Contract Manager to join us at Co-op, and help drive supplier performance and engagement across our FM (Facilities Management) Supply Chain contracts.

As a Contract Manager at Co-op, we’ll look to you to make sure our Supply Chain delivers regulatory compliance, and that fire & water business risks are handled effectively. You’ll build strong relationships with our suppliers to deliver better services for our customers, and drive greater value for our Co-op. What you’ll do

• Manage the performance and operational delivery of multiple FM service and maintenance contracts 
• Lead, support, and coach a small team of Compliance Managers who handle fire and water risk management 
• Hold suppliers to account for their delivery of all contractual commitments
• Work closely with Procurement to shape and lead the tendering process and deliver our 3-year category plan 
• Provide expert advice to colleagues and senior leaders across the business for complex situations 
• Build and deliver mobilisation plans for all new contracts including on boarding new suppliers 
• Be the escalation point in the business for persistent service delivery and contractual issues

This role would suit people who have

• Contract management experience within FM, with a track record of managing suppliers and their performance at senior / executive level 
• Experience of managing large and complex budgets, and identifying and implementing cost savings opportunities
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a talent for building positive relationships with partners across the business
• Great analytical skills; you can analyse large data sets to spot trends and opportunities, and present insights to audiences in a compelling way
• Strong Microsoft Excel ability; you're proficient in using VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and other formulas as well as preparing compelling presentations
