- Length 18-21 months
- Location Manchester
- Hours per Week Various
- Salary Current terms apply
What happens on the programme?
Running alongside your current role, over two years you’ll split your time between on-the-job and classroom-based learning. Getting to grips with project management basics at the same time as working closely with Co-op colleagues, you’ll build your skills across the project lifecycle. And when you’ve mastered your apprenticeship, there’s the opportunity to put your learning into practice and manage your own projects.
It's a challenging programme which requires commitment and ability to balance your work and studies. To help you to succeed you’ll get 20% of your working hours away from the day job to complete your apprenticeship, as well as support from your line manager and a personal coach.
What’s in it for you?
As well as building towards a level 4 qualification, you’ll have the chance to learn in a supportive environment. What’s more, the apprenticeship will give you all of the knowledge and skills you’ll need to develop personally and professionally and forge a career in project management at Co-op.
How to apply
You’ll need a minimum of 5 GCSEs grade C and above (must include maths and English) and at least 2 A levels at grade C or above (we’ll also accept any equivalent qualifications). Over and above this, you’ll need to be able to commit to your studies over the course of the 18-21 months, and you shouldn’t already have a project management qualification. If you meet all of the criteria we’d love to hear from you.
If you work for Co-op in a role which requires an element of project management and you’ve got an interest in developing in your current role, ask your line manager about joining the level 4 apprenticeship.
