What happens on the programme?
A logistics team manager needs to be able to lead colleagues on everything from stock management to transport planning. You’ll build operational knowledge and complete modules in finance, project management and much more. It’s an intensive course, but you’ll get plenty of support from your line manager and personal coach. We’ll dedicate 20% of your working hours to learning – that’s 8 hours set aside for training if you’re working 40 hours per week. Much of this learning will be delivered by our learning provider alongside your line manager and other colleagues at Co-op.
What’s in it for you?
This programme is all about realising your potential and becoming a Co-op leader in Logistics. You won’t have to put in any extra study hours, as they're already included in your working week. And you won’t pay anything for your apprenticeship. By the end of the course, you'll be ready to step up to a team manager role, playing an important role in leading our logistics operations, and earning a team manager salary to go with your new job. Importantly, you'll also have a level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship (equivalent to 2 A-levels) to prove your new capabilities
How to apply
As long as you’ve not got a management qualification at level 3 or higher, and you’re willing to work at least 30 hours per week and commit to 15-18 months of learning, then we’d like to hear from you.
