Senior Finance Business Partner – Commercial
£90,000 to £100,000 plus excellent benefits, including up to 10% employer pension contribution, private healthcare, and a £6,000 car allowance (Work Level 4)

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team in Manchester. In this role, you’ll provide strategic partnership to senior leaders in our Commercial team, using your expertise to help shape plans and guide effective decision-making. You’ll play a key role in supporting our finance colleagues and leaders, helping to steer major projects and bring our financial strategies to life.

What you’ll do
- Lead a team of Finance Business Partners and Business Analysts to solve complex problems and provide insights to improve performance
- Lead the coordination of our financial planning cycle, reporting, and performance management activities
- Influence key decisions by providing analysis, offering new perspectives, and recommending solutions
- Facilitate forward-looking discussions to support long-term scenario planning
- Advise on business planning assumptions, headwinds, and opportunities
- Build effective business partnering relationships, making sure strategies, priorities, and resources align
This role would suit people who have
- Significant experience as a Senior Finance Business Partner
- A relevant financial qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a customer-facing environment
- Strong leadership skills and evidence
- Good relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people, of all levels of seniority, inclusively
- Good communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to a non-financial audience
