We’re looking for a Principal Solution Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture and Design team, part of our wider Digital Technology & Data team, in Manchester. In this role, you’ll support the implementation of a new legal Case Management System (CMS) for our Legal Services business area. We’ll look to you to lead on the architectural aspects of this programme, defining the end-to-end solution design and working closely with multiple third-party solution and implementation partners.

What you’ll do

•    Outline solution options, identify and make recommendations on key design decisions, and complete architectural design documentation
•    Collaborate with partners across Co-op to discuss technology design solutions
•    Demonstrate how the solution design will meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards
•    Provide technical and architectural leadership, sharing your knowledge and experience with other colleagues

This role would suit people who have

•    Experience working on large-scale programmes within an IT and Change environment
•    A familiarity with, and an understanding of, case management processes
•    Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make reasoned and evidence-based decisions
•    Good relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people, of all levels of seniority, inclusively
•    Good communication skills, with the ability to translate technical language for a non-technical audience

We know that some candidates are less likely to apply for a role if they don’t meet all the criteria in the job description. At Co-op, we're committed to building a diverse and inclusive working environment, so if you'd like to apply for this role but your experience doesn't quite meet every point, we'd still encourage you to apply. You may be just the right candidate for the job or other roles we have available.

•    Private healthcare
•    A company car or £6,000 car allowance
