Partner Officer – Supply Chain

£32,000 - £40,000 plus benefits (Work level 6A) 

Manchester city centre, you’ll work in a hybrid way, with one or two days in the office and occasional travel to visit society partners (find out more about our hybrid working policy at https://jobs.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy) 

Full time, with weekend work scheduled around 5 weekends per year 

We’re looking for a Partner Officer to join our Supply Chain team at Co-op. In this role, we’ll look to you to provide support to our FRTS (Federal Retail Trading Services) society partners, and our Nisa wholesale business. You’ll be responsible for managing relationships with key wholesale and buying group partners, acting as a liaison between Co-op Supply Chain, independent society members and Nisa.

What you’ll do

  • Work as part of a team of four Partner Officers, each aligned to designated categories across Supply Chain 
  • Manage relationships and influence across a wide variety of key partners, both internally and externally - from partner supply chains and a variety of wholesale customers to Co-op colleagues in Supply Chain, Trading, Operations and Logistics 
  • Use a range of data from different systems to monitor partner performance, making sure that key targets are being met 
  • Represent Supply Chain in various working groups and monitoring groups
  • Make sure that all relative competition law, regulatory and legislation compliance training are always adhered to across the team 
  • Be trained on process compliance, competition law, and SAP
  • Create clear communications including for seasonal events, and send these out to society partners 

This role would suit people who have

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information to a range of audiences at different work levels 
  • Great relationship building skills with the confidence to engage with and influence colleagues and partners 
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to draw key insights out of large and complex data sets
  • Good general IT skills, with the ability to use Microsoft Excel at intermediate level (you’re comfortable using tools such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPS)
