Operational Services Administrator – Funeralcare
£24,570 (pro rata estimated £9,828) plus great benefits (Work Level 6C)

We’re looking for an Operational Services Administrator to join our Co-op Funeralcare team. You’ll be the main point of contact for clients when they call us, and it’ll be up to you to understand their needs and help them plan a funeral or the repatriation of a loved one. In this role, we’ll look to you to be there for our clients when they need our help, support and advice. You don’t need previous experience as we provide full training and ongoing support so you’ll have all the tools you need for your new role. What you’ll do
• Answer client calls and queries, providing support and guidance, and advising on the best services to meet their needs and budget
• Work with the wider team to make sure our client needs, service levels, and important metrics are met
• Support various administrative aspects of a repatriation for our clients
• Carry-out general administrative tasks (e.g. completing client forms, updating records, and managing funeral-related costs)
• Support our Repatriation Specialists with case work and client queries
This role would suit people who have
• A passion for delivering excellent customer service
• Good relationship-building skills, and the ability to communicate with empathy and sensitivityStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail,
• The ability to work flexibly to support clients when they need us most
• Good IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office and telephone systems)
