Lead Business Improvement Analyst

We’re looking for a Lead Business Improvement Analyst to join us in our Transformation team. We’ll look to you to lead on the delivery of complex improvement projects across the business - working closely with improvement specialists, business analysts and change management professionals. 

In this role, you’ll be building relationships with stakeholders across the business, helping to design and deliver business improvements that truly make a difference. And as our go-to expert on all things business improvement, you’ll play a key role in shaping our improvement services and boosting our capabilities across the Co-op. Ready to take the reins?

What you’ll do

  • use business improvement tools and techniques to support complex problem solving
  • build meaningful relationships with colleagues of all levels of seniority; working in multi-disciplinary teams to make sure any changes land with a positive impact
  • conduct root cause analysis using the relevant data and identify the most appropriate improvement actions
  • develop financially sound and justified business cases and supporting materials
  • contribute to the development of our improvement services and pan-Co-op improvement capabilities 

This role would suit people who have

  • good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues of all levels of seniority
  • a strong applied expertise in a recognised improvement methodology such as lean at advanced practitioner level, six sigma green belt level, or equivalent 
  • excellent Microsoft Excel capabilities, with strong data and statistics skills
  • strong financial awareness, with the ability to build sound and justifiable business cases
