L3 Junior Content Designer Apprenticeship 
£24,000-£28,000 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 6B) 
Apprenticeship duration: 15 months within a permanent, full-time role
Manchester city centre – hybrid working with one day a month required in the office

We’re looking for a Junior Content Designer to join our Customer Design team within Co-op Insurance. You’ll join the team in a full-time, permanent role completing your apprenticeship across 15-months in role.

During this time, you’ll allocate around 20% of your working week to studying, learning, and spending time with your course tutor. For the rest of the week, you’ll be in-role, contributing to the team right from the word ‘go’. Although we’ll provide you with time to learn at work, you’ll need to have the necessary commitment and dedication to successfully balance your work and your studies.

As a Junior Content Designer, you’ll work as part of a team to improve and update the content on our website, taking ideas and actions from the wider business as well as coming up with your own initiatives. We’ll look to you to make our website easy to understand for our customers, providing them with a great customer experience and driving conversions to our products. You’ll work as part of a small, agile team, providing a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of digital design disciplines.

What you’ll do:

•    Dedicate 20% of your working week to your learning, study, and tutorials
•    Attend sessions with your personal skills coach throughout the duration of the programme
•    Update content on our insurance website to improve the customer experience
•    Proactively review our web pages and work with the team to come up with ideas for improvements
•    Attend regular design sessions with the content design team to gain and provide feedback
•    Collaborate with the wider content community across Co-op to share ideas and make sure we’re aligned where appropriate 
•    Complete your apprenticeship over the course of 15 months, gaining a level 3 qualification in content design at the end of the programme

This role would suit people who have

•    Achieved grade A*-C or 9-4 equivalent in GCSE English 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    The ability to build positive relationships with colleagues 
•    Basic IT skills
•    A passion and commitment for learning and building your career as a content designer
