Circa £23,500 plus great benefits (Work Level 6C)

Please note: The working hours for this role are on a rotating schedule, from 7am to 7pm. You’ll also need to work one weekend every four weeks. Additionally, there is on-call duty once every eight weeks, from 7pm to 11pm. Extra pay is given for these on-call duties.

We’re looking for an IT Support Analyst to join our Nisa IT EPOS (Electric Point of Sale) Service Desk team in Scunthorpe! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that specialises in the installation, support, and training of our in-house EPOS system and ordering website. You’ll play a key role in tackling technical inquiries and resolving IT-related incidents, contributing to our excellent IT support service.

At Nisa, we’re passionate about empowering our colleagues and supporting them in their learning and development. As a First Line IT Support Analyst, you’ll develop the skills and experience you’ll need to move into more advanced technical or managerial positions over time. In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way – splitting your time between home and our Scunthorpe office (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).

What you’ll do

  • Take incoming calls and emails from Nisa partners, and prioritise the issues raised appropriately
  • Perform troubleshooting to identify the cause(s) of IT-related issues and apply the relevant solutions
  • Collaborate with your colleagues to deliver support with more complex IT issues
  • Fully document all issue details using our service desk system
  • Communicate problems and issues to key partners, including management, development teams, and end-users
  • Create articles and documents for the support desk to help assist with problems

This role would suit people who have

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A good understanding of IT
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (XP, 7, 8 & 10)
  • A passion for providing great customer service

  • An annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)

  • A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
  • Coaching and training to support your career development
  • Wagestream – a money management app that gives you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it
