Digital Optimisation Analyst – Co-op Insurance

Up to £44,000 plus excellent benefits (Work level 6A)

Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours

We’re looking for a Digital Optimisation Analyst to join our Co-op Insurance business.

In this role you’ll work in a small, multidisciplinary team to make sure we have accurate implementation of digital analytics and web tracking systems, to support data-driven decision-making across the organisation. We’ll look to you to work closely with our technical and marketing teams to optimise campaign performance through insights and tracking to drive value. 

No two days are the same as you’ll meet changing needs and requirements within a small, encouraging team, providing the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of work and gain valuable exposure across the business.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of digital analytics tools (such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager) across all digital platforms to ensure accurate tracking and data integrity
  • Regularly audit tracking systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Troubleshoot and resolve analytics code and issues relating to tag implementation and tracking discrepancies
  • Proactively investigate the automation and streamlining of processes
  • Work closely with cross functional teams (marketing, design and UX)to assist in providing technical support  and give data-driven recommendations to help improve our websites and the customer journey
  • Support in the implementation and development of A/B tests and other optimisation strategies to improve website conversion rates and user experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tracking efforts with overall business and marketing goals and share best practice 

This role would suit people who have:

  • Experience of using tag management systems (e.g. Google Tag Manager) and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics) 
  • A strong understanding of data layers and website tracking
  • Experience of conducting effective A/B tests and improving conversion rates
  • Great problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information to non-technical audiences
