Demand Planner 
£32,000 – £40,00 plus benefits (Work Level 6A) 

12 month Fixed Term Contract
5 over 7 days working pattern with some occasional weekend working

We’re looking for a Demand Planner to join our team. In this role, it’ll be up to you to convert demand into supply to make sure the right products flow through our depots and into our Co-op stores on time. By effectively managing supplier relationships, you’ll make sure we can optimise our store on-shelf availability through replenishment of our store and distribution network.

What you’ll do 

• Manage end-to-end life cycle of products  
• Support the delivery of the category sales plan, including seasonal events & promotions, through effective planning and cross-functional collaboration 
• Be responsible for the accuracy of forecast 
• Develop and maintain great working relationships with suppliers, collaborating on the creation and effective delivery of strategic plans 
• Take ownership of your category and make informed decisions which impact availability, sales, waste, and inventory 
• Be responsible for the cost-effective supply of products

• Excellent analytical skills, with experience of working with large and complex data sets 
• Experience of conducting trend and root cause analysis
