Client Experience and Operations Manager
£40,000 - £45,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A) 
Manchester, hybrid working with 1-2 days a week in the office, based on team requirements
12-month Fixed-term contract (secondment cover)

We’re looking for a Client Experience and Operations Manager to join us at Co-op Media Network, Co-op’s retail media business. In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day management and relationships with multiple agency partners. We’ll look to you to help drive efficiencies, identify opportunities for improvement, and manage costs, to optimise profitability and make sure that Co-op’s Media Network is running effectively for our advertiser clients.

What you’ll do

• Work collaboratively with agencies as well as internal teams across the Co-op (including Comms, Membership, Buying, and Partnerships), making sure that strategies and plans are delivered on time, and building strong relationships as you go 
• Promote data and media opportunities to advertiser clients that deliver profit through sales uplift and enhance our shopper experience
• Make sure that all available media channels can be executed efficiently and effectively
• Create, evolve and refine processes and guardrails for new channels 
• Feed client and internal partner feedback into the Co-op Media Network innovation and comms teams 
• Manage the Co-op Media Network P&L (profit and loss) and review monthly financial reports (from retail media agency partner) for accuracy
• Identify and highlight opportunities to drive cost efficiencies to the Client Experience & Operations Lead, keeping up to date with what activity other grocery retail media networks are delivering
• Raise the profile of Co-op Media Network internally, rolling out new processes based on internal feedback
• Support in the planning and execution of events related to retail media (e.g. product launches, seasonal events)
• Ensure that colleagues and partners have the right tools and ways of working to deliver easy, fast and simplified client experience

This role would suit people who have

• Adaptability and the ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment 
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• The ability to manage a range of internal and external partner relationships 
• Good general IT skills and basic use of Microsoft Excel 
• The confidence to influence others and challenge when necessary 
• Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your work 
• A basic understanding of P&L (profit and loss) and budget management
