We’re seeking an experienced Change Manager to join our Change Management practice in Manchester, where you’ll play a key role in supporting large-scale transformation projects across the business. Initially, you’ll focus on initiatives within our SAP change portfolio, driving impactful change and ensuring successful outcomes.

You’ll also collaborate closely with senior leaders, helping them grasp the broader impact of change and providing guidance on how to effectively lead their teams through transitions.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with teams across Co-op to identify those who will be impacted by SAP programme changes, and ensure all key partners are aligned and have a common understanding of a clearly communicated Case for Change for the programme
  • Conduct change risk and change impact assessments to determine the size, scale, complexity and impact of the proposed changes for these colleagues
  • Develop and implement change management strategies, plans, and readiness assessments for the programme
  • Coach colleagues of all levels of seniority to help them effectively lead their team(s) through programme-related changes
  • Collaborate with our training, development, and communication experts to provide all partners with the knowledge and information they’ll need to make the appropriate changes
  • Develop change adoption metrics, monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of the change management strategy, making any necessary adjustments
  • Develop and implement a change sustainment plan for the programme

This role would suit people who have

  • Experience managing the people change journey for large-scale and complex change initiatives, including SAP initiatives
  • Knowledge of (and experience using) PROSCI/ADKAR change management methodologies and tools
  • Good relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people of all levels of seniority inclusively
  • The ability to provide actionable, data-driven insights to inform the change management plan

Why Co-op?

  • Private healthcare
  • An annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)

  • A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
  • Access to a subsidised onsite gym (at our Manchester HQ)
  • Coaching and training to support your career development
