Business Change Practice Lead
£100,000 + dependant on experience plus excellent benefits including company car or car allowance and private healthcare (Work level 4)
Manchester city centre – hybrid working, you'll be splitting your time between home and the Manchester office, typically twice a week.
We’re looking for an experienced Change Practice Lead to join our Change and Transformation leadership team.
This is a high visibility role, where you'll be leading a team that's key to bringing clarity and understanding our new and ambitious Co-op strategy, identifying the key business outcomes required and the specific changes to our ways of working that will be necessary to enable the delivery of our strategy.
We create strategic runways to capture the outcomes and the sequence with which these are required, and this runway forms the basis of c-suite engagement, review and prioritisation, for which you’ll be responsible for in this role.
You’ll also play a critical role in the definition and delivery of our change portfolio, specifically relating to business improvement, business analysis and business change management. We’ll look to you to be an expert in one of our key service areas relating to design, analysis, change management and improvement, and you’ll be responsible for the ongoing development and improvement of these services.

What you’ll do
- Design transformation roadmaps that incorporate innovation, technology adoption, and process re-design to deliver the strategic outcomes across the business
- Lead the application of Design Thinking to define and solve complex business problems
- Design the end-to-end service, process, and improvements for both internal and external partners
- Support the delivery of transformative projects, ensuring business outcomes are delivered to a high quality with a focus on embedding sustainable change and making sure they’re aligned with customer expectations, market demands, and emerging trends
- Influence senior leadership and key partners to support transformation initiatives and drive commitment
- Lead large multi-disciplinary teams in an inclusive way, developing the teams and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
This role would suit people who have
• Expertise and proven senior leadership experience in leading change practice
• Proven experience in managing large-scale change end to end in a large matrix organisation
• Experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams in an inclusive way
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders
• The ability to interpret complex data sets, generating insights to inform decision making and measure success
