Business Analyst – Transformation Design
£45,000 to £50,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A)

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Transformation Design team at Co-op. You’ll work across a variety of projects, from the straightforward to the seriously complex, alongside a talented team of business improvement analysts, lean six sigma specialists, and change practice leads. Your job? Ask the tough questions, challenge the status quo, and make sure we’re focusing on the right changes.

What you’ll do
- Produce and own the end-to-end business requirements, pulling together high-quality documentation using industry standard tools and techniques
- Analyse and document business processes, working closely with colleagues across the business to optimise and improve processes
- Strategically evaluate change, defining current and future states, risk and business cases
- Challenge priorities and decisions where necessary, making sure financial and functional value is delivered
- Actively keep on top of industry trends and upcoming developments to provide recommendations on solutions or techniques
- Lead the business analysis community to support and advance our capability
This role would suit people who have
- Previous experience in a Business Analyst role
- Experience using waterfall and agile methodologies
- Confidence working with business and technical change and the ability to work across multiple teams/business areas
- A solid understanding of current, BA-related industry practice
- Good communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to translate technical language for a non-technical audience
