Who we are
The Data and Loyalty function brings together data and insight expertise from across Co-op in one team. We’re responsible for data, insight, customer experience (CX) and customer relationship management (CRM), as well as our end-to end membership programme and strategy.
The teams that make up our Data and Loyalty function are data strategy, governance and management; data engineering; analytics and BI (business intelligence); data science and labs; insight and research; membership; CX and CRM, and service and demand.
We’re a team of experts who work together in communities of practice to share skills and knowledge, learn from each other, and create career pathways for our colleagues.
What we do
Data and Loyalty, together as one team helps Co-op to deliver our enterprise data capabilities and strategy; insight and research; targeted marketing and membership proposition needs. We make sure everything is underpinned by robust data and great insights.
We’re a centre of excellence – driving improvements to the quality, accessibility and use of data. We build new data products, and use the power of technology and computing to scale our efforts. And we pioneer insights and metrics that drive our ethical standards, and help to illustrate our impact in communities.
Our goal is to improve the colleague and customer experience, and promote innovation and growth. The work we do has a direct impact on the commercial performance of our Co-op.
Who we look for
In all our Data and Loyalty teams, we look for people who are outcome focused, and committed to improving processes, systems and experiences using data and insight.
We regularly recruit across a wide range of jobs – from data scientists and engineers, to data governance experts, analysts, insight managers and CX/CRM professionals.
As well as the many skillsets needed to fulfil these roles, we also need to bring in people from a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives in order to achieve our goals.
