Asset Lifecycle Analyst 

£32,000 to £42,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A) 

Fully flexible, hybrid working with the requirement to be in our Manchester office at least once a quarter (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).

We’re looking for an Asset Lifecycle Analyst to join our expanding Co-op property team. In this new role you’ll focus on developing our asset data and reporting, to help our property function to use data to drive key business decisions. You’ll analyse data to help us understand the condition, performance, and cost of assets, across our stores, funeralcare corporate and logistics properties, and to provide insight on where to focus our efforts and make a positive impact for our Co-op. 

What you’ll do

  • Provide analysis, insight and recommendations based on asset data across all business units to support data driven decision making 
  • Prepare reports, presentations and manage information for ad hoc, weekly, and monthly asset management reporting 
  • Build, develop, and automate asset management reports, dashboards, and data models 
  • Identify asset replacement works using data and insights 
  • Complete quality assurance reviews of the asset data, database, and adherence to asset management processes 
  • Use asset information to identify emerging risks and improvement opportunities 
  • Use data and insights to model asset performance and lifecycle costings 

This role would suit people who have

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail 
  • A strong understanding of systems including Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint, Access, and Power BI
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills 
  • The ability to analyse large data sets and be able to provide concise insights
