Who we are
The Strategy and Transformation team are trusted experts who work in partnership with all our Co-op businesses. We support the development of our Co-op strategy, and help to deliver and embed sustainable change. We play an important role in the successful growth, evolution and transformation of our Co-op.
Teams within Strategy and Transformation include strategy, planning & Governance; EPMO (enterprise programme management office); delivery; transformation capability and portfolio.
We have an inclusive culture and a diverse range of capabilities within the team. We work together to push boundaries, and constructively challenging the status quo. Our goal is to help Co-op businesses continually improve the products and services they offer to customers, colleagues and members.
What we do
Strategy and Transformation teams are deployed across a variety of activities.
Our strategy team works with senior leaders to develop the strategies needed to execute our vision, run our annual planning process, and manage our Co-op governance landscape to ensure we can do things in the right way at the right time.
In transformation we work out what change is needed to deliver business outcomes and identified benefits, and deliver change initiatives across all Co-op businesses. We lead multi-disciplinary teams to land programmes and projects of all shapes and sizes. Our work ranges from complex transformation activity, to IT transformation and everything in-between.
What we look for
In all our Strategy and Transformation teams we look for people who are great communicators and natural collaborators. To join us it’s essential that you can bring people together, use your initiative to figure out the best way forward in all kinds of situations, and manage lots of different tasks and priorities simultaneously.
We regularly recruit across a wide range of jobs – from project and programme managers, to strategy analysts, business analysts, agile delivery managers, change practitioners and PMO leads.
As well as the skillsets needed to fulfil these roles, we also need to bring in people from a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives in order to achieve our goals.
