Senior Probate Solicitor / Case Manager
Up to £40,000 plus benefits (Grade E16) 
Remote with some travel to one of our regional offices (Bristol, Manchester, Sheffield, or Stratford-upon-Avon) particularly in the training period

We’re looking for an enthusiastic senior probate solicitor / case manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll manage your own varied caseload end-to-end, and focus on the needs of your clients. What you’ll do: 

• take responsibility for a varied caseload of estate administration cases from start to finish, using a case management system
• update cases and make sure information is always recorded accurately 
• engage with clients by telephone and email primarily
• work collaboratively with support from experienced members of the team to continually develop your expertise
• use your legal knowledge to support more junior members of the team

This role would suit people who have:

• qualified as a solicitor (CILEX or STEP qualification), or have equivalent legal experience 
• with significant probate experience
• great organisational skills; we'll need you to be able to work autonomously and effectively manage priorities 
• a client-focussed approach, with the ability to put the client’s interests at the heart of what you do
• great communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with colleagues and clients
• a comprehensive understanding of relevant allowances
• some previous experience of business and agricultural interests
• a good understanding of self-assessment processes for income and capital gains tax
• the ability to navigate concerns around Will validity and interpretation
