Remote / home based, with occasional visits to our Scunthorpe's office

As a category management assistant, we’ll look to you to support category management managers by generating accurate planograms via an automated system, making sure that these are updated regularly, and are relevant to core range updates. You’ll also carry out general admin tasks to help the team to reach their goals. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your skills, and to spring-board your career in category management.

What you’ll do

• administer the automated planogram system to create accurate planograms
• manage core range updates, to make sure that they’re relevant to planograms
• carry out weekly updates for all planograms
• make sure the automated planogram system is properly maintained
• support category product group reviews as directed by the category management team, attending meetings with both internal and external partners
• provide general administration support to the wider team, including creating reports and completing other ad-hoc tasks and project work

This role would suit people who have

• the ability to work autonomously, and use your own initiative
• great teamworking skills; you can work collaboratively with a range of colleagues and partners
• strong communication skills, with the ability to present information in a clear and concise way
• good basic IT skills, with the ability to use programmes in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• a desire to build a career in category management
