We’re looking for a CBS Treasury Adviser to join us and carry out reconciliations for payments made across the business. This isn’t a customer facing role, but you will be working really closely with colleagues in our Treasury Front Office and Reconciliation teams across the Co-op Group to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. If you have the experience and great communication skills that we’re looking for, then we can offer you the chance to develop your knowledge of reconciliations whilst gaining valuable exposure across the business. 

What you’ll do:

• handle the processing and reconciliation of multiple general ledger and bank accounts for your own team area
• accurately process transactions and make sure MI and reporting are completed within agreed timeframes, whilst maintaining financial integrity at all times
• work collaboratively with Treasury Front Office team in to resolve queries as quickly and efficiently as possible
• coordinate bank accounts for different business areas

This role would suit people who have:

• good numerical skills with an understanding of accounts and treasury
• strong analytical and excel skills
• great problem-solving skills and tenacity
• previous reconciliation experience and knowledge of how to reconcile data
• the ability to utilise Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level
• excellent team working skills
• flexibility and can adapt to a changing environment
