Associate Solicitor Family Law
Up to £52,600 plus excellent benefits including annual bonus, 28 days holiday, pension with up to 10% Co-op contribution, and free support for your wellbeing (Work Level 6A)

We’re looking for an associate family law solicitor to join our team at Co-op Legal Services.

At Co-op Legal Services we do things differently, we’re continuously innovating our technology to support your delivery and we’re passionate about providing an exceptional client experience. In this role, you’ll manage a variety of new and existing family caseloads end to end with a client focused approach to targets. We’ll look to you to use your expertise to provide the best outcomes for your clients and work collaboratively with your team. You won’t need to bring a following of clients with you as we will source these for you. What you’ll do

•    take ownership of a mixed caseload of family matters, undertaking active negotiation to get the best results for your clients 
•    use our case management system to make sure information is recorded accurately 
•    engage with clients remotely by telephone and email
•    work collaboratively with expert support from the team to continually develop your legal skills, administrative support will also be provided 
•    use your legal knowledge to mentor more junior members of the team acting as the subject matter specialist in family law
•    line-management responsibilities for at least one direct report, supporting their development in an inclusive environment 

This role would suit people who have

•    qualified as a solicitor / CILEX qualified, with significant post-qualification experience 
•    a proven background in family law, with excellent legal technical knowledge
•    outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage with a range of clients and partners, including executive leaders 
•    the ability to use your initiative and effectively prioritise your work
