Who we are

All our finance teams are focused on supporting colleagues, and preserving and improving value generation in the business.

The financial control team provides a true and fair view of our financial position to the business. They deliver high-quality financial control through simple, standardised processes, underpinned by a strong control framework.

The FPAR team delivers expert support to drive decision making, risk analysis and process improvement. They’re a centre of excellence for financial planning, analysis and reporting.

Our finance business partners work closely with colleagues right across Co-op. They use their expertise to drive decision making and financial performance.

What we do

Supply Chain teams manage the movement of goods from depots to stores. We use data to make sure we have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time.

We also work closely with Co-op suppliers, getting feedback from them so we can keep improving the way we work. It’s our responsibility to manage the replenishment of our depots so we can be confident product availability in stores reflects what our customers need.

Retail Support team provide support services for our stores and our community activities. We help with planning and financial management, and we make aim to make work simpler by re-thinking processes and using innovative technology.

Who we look for

In Supply Chain we look for natural problem solvers – people who can use data to drive decision making, planning and forecasting. In Retail Support we need naturally inquisitive people who look for opportunities to listen to and improve the colleague experience.

Whichever team you join you’ll need a passion for learning and continuous improvement, and the ability to work co-operatively with all kinds of people.

We regularly recruit availability analysts, store services advisors, supply chain administrators and a wide range of roles focused on keeping our stores safe and secure.

As well as the skillsets needed to fulfil these roles, we also need to bring in people from a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives in order to achieve our goals. We’re committed to building inclusive Supply Chain and Retail support teams, and we recognise the need for all our Co-op teams to reflect the diversity of the communities they serve.
